AirOutshield™ Wall Wrap

AirOutshield™ Wall is a breathable underlayment  for Rain Screen Wall Systems.  AirOutshield™ Wall is a triple layer, spun bonded polypropylene, water resistant breathable underlayment that is used as as secondary drainage plane.  Used as a Weather Resistive Barrier (WRB) behind rainscreen wall cladding systems including siding (vinyl, wood, fibre cement, metal and brick) and shingles (metal, copper, zinc, and cedar).  Installed in open joint cladding systems including Eternit, Superpanel, Trespa Meteon, Prodema,

AirOutshield™ Wall high rate of breathability, 156.1 Perms and 182 Perms after UV and Heat Aged, allows moisture within the wall system to  dry rapidly.Thereby,  reducing  potential for mold, mildew, rot, metal corrosion and reduced insulation thermal values. AirOutshield™ Wall's Self-Cinching at fasteners minimizes  penetration point leaks and the need for sealant. Water resistance quickly routes any precipitation that enters away, before it can damage insulation and other components.  AirOutshield™ Wall is tear, rip, and puncture resistant which reduces repairs, labor costs.  "Dries In" Building by being left exposed up to 4 months allowing construction to proceed efficiently.
